Scientists say “Women need more sleep than men”
Sleep is essential for a person’s health and well being. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.
One of the major functions of sleep is to allow the brain to recover and repair itself.
Many men assume that women are delicate, sleepy flowers who crumble when they are prematurely awakened from their feminine slumber. But the reason behind this is explained by scientists as women think more than men.
Scientists have discovered women need more sleep than men. They say women suffer more than men, both physically and mentally, if they are forced to skimp on their sleep. The state of man’s health does not appear to be closely linked to how much they sleep.
Men and women brains are wired differently. Brains with blue colored wire represents male brains other brains represent female brains. Male brains appeared to be wired front to back, with few connections bridging the two hemispheres. In females, the pathways cris-crossed between left and right.
These differences might explain why men, in general, tend to be better at learning and performing a single task, like cycling or navigating, whereas women are more equipped for multitasking.
Since, women brains do more multitasking they need more sleep. Women who are sleep deprived often suffer from depression and anger. As well as higher risk of heart diseases, psychological problems and have extra clotting factors which lead to stroke.
So now we know how important sleep is for a woman, eat well, sleep tight, enjoy the life and avoid all the physical and mental stress.
The best thing a loving husband or partner can do is perhaps persuade her to get few extra hours snuggling under the covers or face the consequences. If the woman in your life wakes up grumpy this morning, don’t be too hard on her.
